Ybor’s Personalized Tile Program

There have been many nights were I’ve drunkenly stumbled over these tiles all over 7th Avenue. They seem to be completely random, the product of people paying someone to personalize a time with their birth or death dates, a meaningful inscription, tales of love and loss, etc.etc. Some are quite old, and it’s obvious by how dirty and decayed the engraving is. Others are recent, and they look almost shiny in comparison.
To be honest, I think it’s an awesome idea and I wish I knew who to contact to get one of my very own that just reads “MyTampaLife.com” If any of my readers know where to get one made, please comment so I can proceed.
