Today, I moved to Tampa.

Though i’ve been a Florida citizen since Katrina hit Louisiana, I’ve never really felt like I belonged. We ended up washing up in lakeland, which is where my parents live and thus provided atleast some port in my otherwise turbulent life of Detroit > Vegas > New Orleans > Detroit > Florida.

Today, my wife and I decided to get away from the tyranny and oppression of the lakeland government. That includes a move away from ridiculous electric bills, major theft and just the general sentiment of bullshit that I felt every day i was there.

So, fuck Lakeland. This is my Life in Tampa.

I’ve lived all over, but Tampa really seems to suit me. It’s funny being in a place that’s relatively cheap to live while still feeling pretty safe.

Welcome to Tampa man! Screw Polk county…. Hillsborough’s where it’s at! Lived here my entire life and don’t plan on going anywhere else.
