With the time I spent in New Orleans, I managed to soak up a good cross section of both Blues and Jazz. Some would say that both genres speak to, and about, what it is to be in New Orleans. I think a lot of those same conclusions can be drawn about Tampa, and that’s why I’m excited about the Tampa Bay Blues Fest, going on this weekend (March 20th-22nd) in Vinoy Waterfront Park.
There’s quite an exciting line-up, and you can go with 1 day ($30) or 3 day passes (75).
