My friend and I just went there last night, this was my first time, it was her second time. We absolutely loved the place. Our waiter was so very nice, he talked to us about where he is from, what all was on our table, explained all of our food to us, it was absoultely wonderful. You can't get that to often in a traditional american restraunt, they are in to much of a hurry to get your tip but not take care of you.

The service was supurb. I was not upset at the prices at all. I gladly paid what I did for such a great meal, great service, wonderful waiter, and great food.

Every thing about this place will make me return again. Our waiter even walked out the door with us to say good night and to thank us. What an absolute pleasure.

I will be going back and very soon at that. I am going to try the lunch buffet so I can get more of a variety of their great food.

Don't miss your chance at eating here. (Tonya)

Alex - Often times, I agree with you. However, there's a few "bar & grills" that I actually like the food at because they accentuate the "grill" part.

You seldom find decent food at sports bars. When I read "Bar & Grill" I basically think "at least they sell food when I'm drunk and hungry". Oh well, food tastes better drunk anyway.

Sounds like it would be a great gift to Freecycle. You should get on their and post! Alternatively, the free section of craigslist is a good place to get rid of old computers as well.

I have a old computer from 2005, that has a fairly new video card and 2 working DVD drives one of which burns DVDs. The mother Board is fried and possibly the CPU. Great for parting out or if you even just want the case.

Love the story that you guys did on Jai alai. We are still attempting to get something going again up here in Connecticut, but not having much luck with the cost of putting up a court.

Toss a line when you get a chance, and keep spreading the word about this great sport.

Below you will find a an email I sent a few days ago. I was contacted by a Regional Manager named Frank 305-798-XXXX that is all the information I have for Frank. Well needless to say, he said he had received all three emails I had previously written and spoke to the wait staff and came to the conclusion that I was a LIAR! He did not say that once but basically three times. Then I made a statement with it and hung up on him. I am not accustomed to being called a liar. I work and attend NKU and will soon be transferred to UC in their PhD program, I have more than enough access to many people and will tell everyone my about my experience at Gameworks, not too mention all my social media contacts.

A little about my background, I worked almost 25 years in the food and beverage industry and know for a fact that when a complaint is a generally well know fact, it allows for individuals to cover their tracks, I covered my butt in the past a time or two, against major complaints from customers, but never to the to the point of basically calling them liars. But one thing I can say, being in the business for all those years, I have a wide assortment of friends that are food and beverage industry owners, not to mention access to their employees. I will tell everyone I know about the spotty experience I had at Gameworks.

I tried to deal with this issue three times to come to a win-win resolution. However, now I will just deal with it on my own. I don't need any more contact from your company or subsidiaries, it is apparent your organizational leadership is running amok. Might want to teach your upper managers about conflict resolution and how to deal customers relations.

What a shame that 2 out of every 5 people I have spoken to about my experience at Gameworks, had absolutely nothing good to say about Newport on the Levee Gameworks.

Guess, I am not alone-in the disappointing experience that Gameworks provides. So, based on your reputation and my knowledge base on personal associations-that's is all I need.

What a fiasco!

Kristen F

Subject: a very unsatisfied customer

Receipt details: Feb 14'10 1:14, check 3563, check ID 601. 237 Stacey Server

I have been a customer of Gamework's for a long time and have enjoyed my experiences until February 14, 2010. One very important issue, they were out of Ribs-they sold out the day before, lack of organizational and managerial leadership. I entered Gameworks about 12:30 pm on Sunday Valentine's Day. I noticed that there was only one server, I told her I was not in a hurry. I ordered my food while I asked her 4 times when could I have my game card, it was a promotion that day, I had to ask an expediter, to get the cards, after an hour and half I got the cards.

During the time me and my little girl were playing games, our table was given away; our coats, food, and drinks were still at the table. When I asked the women to find another table she became very irate, I asked her is she noticed that our stuff was sitting right there, she said she did not care. I asked the manager to get my table back. He sat her and her two small children at the bar, the mother was drinking heavily. During this time, she and the bartender were bad mouthing me-very unprofessional for the bartender to do. Needless to say, my experience at Gamework's went downhill quick.

I just left, I will not be treated like that from any bartender who has no respect for his companies patrons. I then came home and wrote an email, I accidentally sent my email to the Columbus store, I did not notice Newport on the Levee drop down option. The GM from Columbus called me within 48 hours and was very apologetic and assured that I would be given gift certificates for 3 more dinners and 3 game passes. And assured me he would speak to the GM at Newport on the Levee and see what had happened. However, they have yet to arrive. Plus, I would like to know how is it that your company can sit patron at the bar, not in the bar, but right at the bar with small children and serve the parent alcoholic beverages-who is obviously highly intoxicated to begin with?

During the time I was there, the restaurant became chaos quickly, one server. Trash, dirty dishes every where, people standing waiting to get a tables. One women I saw waited 20 minutes while waiting for her table to be cleaned. The young working kids just running around the store, not really doing anything to help the server. majority of the young working adults were hanging at the host station, not even bothering to help see the restaurant was kept in good working order. Now I have spoken to several other employees at different restaurants on the Levee and they state that it "is business as usual", that is sad to have that type of reputation.

A very upset customer,

Kristen F

In the defense of the place: I do not think that the name has anything to do with the other locations in other cities etc. It is also a "Delivery" not an "eat-in" establishment. I personally enjoy their pizza and their attitude and the food is always hot and fresh. JULY

Wow. If this woman is using this show as a forum to hawk her talents, and if one of her "talents" is supposedly acting...umm...why doesn't she learn how to produce a tear or two while she's wracked with fake sobs? Given the frequency with which she bursts into crocodile tears, I'd think this would be at the top of her list of things to learn. I agree with another respondent; the baby talk is undoubtedly the most annoying thing I have ever witnessed on a TV show - reality or not. And her poor fiance---for pete's sake, he looks as though he's in a perpetual state of shock. BeFORE the wedding...he also really really really looks like he knows he's made a big fat mistake but cannot see a way out. Poor guy...

OMG. The homemade balloon to which Bill refers is precisely what I was thinking. As luck would have it, Kirsten's episode of Bridezilla was the first i've ever seen - and I will certainly not be back. It took me a minute to figure out just what the heck was going on with this woman---I couldn't follow the hilarious baby talk, relentless posturing and mugging, her utter inability to not look directly into the camera to ensure that it was on her when she was at her "cutest"---but the question that I could not stop asking the room at large was..."Why, oh WHY, is this poor man marrying this train wreck??" I do appreciate the money that (I hope) she donates to animal shelters, etc. - but it's quite clear that this woman's true motivation is to generate publicity and buzz...for her adorable self. Sheesh. If this woman somehow snags a career of sorts out of this train wreck, I will leave the state of Florida. How incredibly embarrassing that this is the best the producers could do---with the state full to bursting of women who need financial help with their weddings and are not simply looking for a venue via which they can advertise their dubious talents.

Good Day Denis,, I was disappointed to learn that the Pewter Nation will not be holding the tailgate parties this year...we so much wanted to go, since we are coming from NY, and don't know the area very well, would you have any other suggestion as to where we might possibly be able to enjoy our trip with some sort of pre-game festivities near or at the stadium? Your help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Chuck

Jane - I was not paid for the post. I also don't believe it was a setup. I had a legitimately good experience.

That said, I know these things can be hit and miss. I've heard of others going there since and have had lousy service, undercooked meat and a generally bad time. I've also heard of others going there and having the same experience I had. I guess it really is up to who is working and what they ordered.

That said, I'm going to go back next week and do a second evaluation. Thanks for posting your comment so others can see that there are two sides to every review.

Whoever wrote this post must have been paid or was setup. I visited the Latin American Grill-Argentine Steakhouse with my family because of a coupon that I received. That was the worst decision EVER!! I was absolutely horrified! I visited the bathroom while eating there and took a peek in their kitchen and couldn't believe how filthy! Also, the owner who was also the waiter served the steak that I ordered and was touching it with his hands! Then I saw roaches on the walls of the Argentine Grill-Argentine Steakhouse! The Latin American Grill-Argentine Steakhouse in Oldsmar should be shut down for filthiness. I ended up getting massively sick that night and should have gone to the hospital and sued! I am never going back there again and suggest that you don't either!!

I tried the honey BBQ wings. They were pretty good. Great honey BBQ flavor. My only disappointment is there was not enough sauce. They stated they use one pump from the sauce dispencer per four wings. Additional sauce is .30 cents.
