Brighthouse adds more new HD channels

I’m like a kid in a candy store when it comes to technology. I was one of the first I knew of to buy an HDTV, even before the programming became available. Finally, after waiting a few years, I’m seeing the software catch up with the hardware.

Brighthouse has started rolling out more HD Channels as of today. The new channels include:

USA Network HD on channel 740.
SciFi Network HD on channel 741.
Bravo HD on channel 742.

This brings their HD offerings up to 59 Channels:

From what they’ve told me when I’ve called in to ask about new channels, we’re getting another 10 High Def channels in March or April. Once the all-digital-conversion going on in February, the extra bandwidth is supposed to make it easier to carry more channels at a cheaper rate for Brighthouse. Yay for more content!

Now if I can just get them to offer a DVR that allows me to download to my computer…
